ORDINANCE 95-78 N. Salaries of the Mavor and Council The annual salaries of the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, commencing January 1, 1994, and continuing thereafter until further order of council, are hereby fined as follows: Official Annual Salary Mayor $14,000.00 Council President $6,000.00 Council Members $5,500.00 O. Bonds Each of the following officers and employees of the Municipality, in addition to such others as Council may upon time-to-time designate, shall furnish a bond for the faithful performance of the duties of his office or position in the sum indicated: Mayor Finance Director Assistant Finance Director $25,000.00 $50,000.00 $25,000.00 SECTION 2. All prior Ordinances, inconsistent with this Ordinance, in whole or in part, are repealed. SECTION 3. The Council fords and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that the enactment hereof will provide reasonable compensation for the services rendered by file employees of the Municipality. It shall, therefor-e, take effect immediately upon the passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law.
