ARTICLE 23 <br />LOM8?ITY <br />Section 23.1. Years of service shall be defined as the total number of <br />twelve (12) month periods of service completed on or before December 31st <br />of each year. Each twelve (12) month period used to compute years of <br />service commences on the anniversary date of the employee's first date of <br />employment with the Village and ends on the last day prior to the <br />employee's next consecutive anniversary date. <br />Section 23.2. The only service that shall be used to compute longevity pay <br />shall be years of service as a full-time employee of Mayfield Village. <br />Section 23.3. Each full-time employee of the Village shall be entitled to <br />longevity pay increases in accordance with the following schedules <br />For ervicet less <br />Fifty hadollars ((S50e00) years <br />1s <br />month. <br />2. For not less than ten (10) years nor more than fifteen (15) years <br />service, Sixty-five dollars (565.00) additional compensation per <br />month. <br />3. For more than twenty (20) years service, Ninety-five dollars <br />($95.00) additional compensation per month. <br />Section 23.4. Longevity benefit will be paid the first pay period in <br />December each year. <br />Section 23.5. All full-time employees of the Village as of the date of <br />passage hereof shall retain, for the purposes of computing their longevity <br />pay, the years of service credited to their employment with the Village, as <br />currently appears on the personnel and payroll records of the Village. <br />16
