- Mayfield High School. An additional 15 acres should be <br />considered for stadium parking and possibly a playground <br />to the south and west of the existing school site. <br />- Parkview Golf Course. Regardless of its ownership, this <br />facility represents an important recreation facility which <br />should be maintained. (See Mayfield Village's adopted SOM <br />Center/Highland Development Study.) <br />- Other Sites. Another 20 acres comprising sites in Plan <br />Areas 1, 2 and 3 should be considered for possible future <br />community facilities. In particular, the aforementioned <br />Mayfield Center Plan (Map 3) suggests the development of a <br />municipal ..center in conjunction with reuse of the <br />Village's existing facilities at Wilson Mills/SOM Center <br />Roads. <br />Again, Mayfield Village is in the enviable position of- <br />having a strong economic base, as well as an extensive amount of <br />land for .community facilities.
