Definition of Permanent Full-Time Employee For purposes of this Ordinance and benefits contained herein, a permanent full-time employee is defined as a person who works forty (40) hours per calendar week on the same job except in the case of the fire department employee (excluding Fire Chief) who works fifty-three hours per calendar week. Part-time positions held by full-time Village employees do not qualify for additional benefits or overtime pay for their part-time employment. Further, part-time employees are entitled to no benefits unless specifically granted elsewhere in this ordinance. C. Uniform Allowance and~Maintenance 1. Uniform items for Police Department employees shall conform to the specifications required by the Department's Manual of Rules and Regulations, subject to the approval of the Chief of Police.
