30A <br />131.07 <br />131.06 AUTHORITY TO ISSUE APPEARANCE CITATIONS. <br />Upon the directive of the ivlayor persons holding the following, positions within <br />the Iunicipality, are authorized to issue appearance citations for violation of local <br />ordinances: <br />(a) Fire Department personnel, in the enforcement of the Fire Code; <br />(b) Building Commissioner/Service Director, in its enforcement of the <br />Building and Zoning Code; and <br />(c) Auxiliary Police Officers, in its enforcement of Chapter 351 of the <br />Codified Ordinances. <br />(Ord. 90-23. Passed 5-21-90.) <br />131.07 HAYFIELD VILLAGE GROWTH COMMITTEE. <br />(a) There is hereby established the Mayfield Village Growth Committee which <br />shall be constituted and have such powers and duties as hereinafter set forth. <br />(b) The Committee shall consist of not more than seven members, all of whom <br />shall be appointed by the Mayor on or after January 1 of each year, such appointments <br />subject to the concurrence of a majority of the members elected to Council. All <br />members shall be residents of the Municipality and shall not hold other municipal or <br />elected office. The Committee shall elect one of its members to serve as its <br />Chairman. <br />(c) .Members of the Committee shall serve on the Committee until December 31 <br />of the year in which they were appointed. If, for any reason, .there is a vacancy <br />on the Committee and the Mayor determines that such vacancy should be filled, <br />then the appointment of a successor shall be made in the same manner as an <br />original appointment. <br />(d) The members of the Committee shall serve without compensation. <br />(e) Pursuant to the terms of the Charter, the Mayor shall supervise the functions <br />and duties of the Committee. Unless otherwise provided by the Mayor, the Chairman <br />of the Committee shall establish meeting dates for the Committee and shall preside <br />at all meetings. <br />(f) Unless otherwise provided by the Mayor, it is the function of the Committee <br />to act in an advisory capacity to the Mayor to encourage economic stability, <br />maintain property values and generate new housing opportunities. <br />(Ord. 92-01.
