J~ ORDINANCE N0. 92-1g <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING VARIOUS FEES AND PENALTIES <br />THROUGHOUT THE CODE <br />WHEREAS, a survey of the fees and penalties ,throughout the <br />Codified Ordinances has been reviewed by Council, and certain <br />amendments have been deemed warranted as a result of a change in <br />circumstances or length of time since said fees and penalties had <br />been changed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That Section 505.08 of the Codified Ordinances is <br />hereby and herein amended to read as follows: <br />505.08 NOTICE TO OWNER OF IMPOUNDED DOG; REDEMPTION. <br />Not later than two days after the impounding of any dog, <br />the owner shall be notified or if the owner of the dog is <br />unknown, written notice shall be posted for three days on the <br />bulletin board in the lobby of the Village Hall describing the <br />dog and the time and place of taking. The owner of any dog so <br />impounded may reclaim such dog upon presentation of a license, <br />if the dog was unlicensed or untagged, and upon the payment of <br />an impounding fee of -€~e ten dollars {fir-A-9~ ($10.00) ~s <br />~~~g ~a~ge~~~e-~a~e~~n~dez <br />SECTION 2. That Section 1149.03 of the Codified Ordinances is <br />hereby and herein amended to read as follows: <br />1149.03 FILING FEES. <br />Each application to the Planning and Zoning Commission, <br />each application to the Board of Appeals requesting a variance <br />and each petition to Council .for an amendment of the zoning <br />regulations or districts shall, unless waived by the <br />Commission, Board or Council to which such application or <br />petition is addressed, be accompanied by a filing fee of <br />t~i~r~ i-~-~~^ fifty dollars 'c~~ ($50.00) , payable to the <br />Municipality. However, if the cost of publishing the notice <br />and notifying property owners in connection with any such <br />application or petition exceeds twenty-five dollars ($25.00), <br />then the person filing such application or petition shall pay <br />the amount of the excess cost to the Municipality before the <br />date of the hearing on such application or petition. The <br />filing fees shall be paid into the General Fund of the <br />Municipality. <br />SECTION 3. That Section 1185.10(d) of the Codified Ordinances <br />is hereby and herein amended to read as follows: <br />1- <br />
