J~ ORDINANCE N0. 92-1g INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING VARIOUS FEES AND PENALTIES THROUGHOUT THE CODE WHEREAS, a survey of the fees and penalties ,throughout the Codified Ordinances has been reviewed by Council, and certain amendments have been deemed warranted as a result of a change in circumstances or length of time since said fees and penalties had been changed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That Section 505.08 of the Codified Ordinances is hereby and herein amended to read as follows: 505.08 NOTICE TO OWNER OF IMPOUNDED DOG; REDEMPTION. Not later than two days after the impounding of any dog, the owner shall be notified or if the owner of the dog is unknown, written notice shall be posted for three days on the bulletin board in the lobby of the Village Hall describing the dog and the time and place of taking. The owner of any dog so impounded may reclaim such dog upon presentation of a license, if the dog was unlicensed or untagged, and upon the payment of an impounding fee of -€~e ten dollars {fir-A-9~ ($10.00) ~s ~~~g ~a~ge~~~e-~a~e~~n~dez SECTION 2. That Section 1149.03 of the Codified Ordinances is hereby and herein amended to read as follows: 1149.03 FILING FEES. Each application to the Planning and Zoning Commission, each application to the Board of Appeals requesting a variance and each petition to Council .for an amendment of the zoning regulations or districts shall, unless waived by the Commission, Board or Council to which such application or petition is addressed, be accompanied by a filing fee of t~i~r~ i-~-~~^ fifty dollars 'c~~ ($50.00) , payable to the Municipality. However, if the cost of publishing the notice and notifying property owners in connection with any such application or petition exceeds twenty-five dollars ($25.00), then the person filing such application or petition shall pay the amount of the excess cost to the Municipality before the date of the hearing on such application or petition. The filing fees shall be paid into the General Fund of the Municipality. SECTION 3. That Section 1185.10(d) of the Codified Ordinances is hereby and herein amended to read as follows: 1-
