ORDINANCE NO. 92- 18 <br />PAGE THREE <br />or fraction thereof for new multi-family and commercial <br />buildings; ~_._nth-f-~-~ one hundred dollars x-!$100.00) <br />base fee plus three dollars ($3.00) for each 1, 000 square feet <br />or fraction thereof for additions or alterations to multi- <br />family and commercial buildings; twenty dollars ($20.00) for <br />decks; ~ thirty-five dollars A} x$35.00) for <br />swimming pools; twenty dollars ($20.00) for all buildings and <br />structures other than those heretofore listed; which fee shall <br />be collected by the Building Commissioner before the Board <br />will make any review. No building permit shall be issued by <br />the Building Commissioner unless plans and specifications for <br />the building shall have been first approved in writing by the <br />Board upon the affirmative vote of a majority of its members <br />present at a meeting of the Board at which there is a quorum. <br />SECTION 7. That Section 1309.04(a) of the Codified Ordinances <br />is hereby and herein amended to read as follows: <br />1309.04 LUMP SUM PERMIT FEE; EXCEPTIONS. <br />(a) Single-Family Dwelling. For construction of a new <br />single-family dwelling house, a total lump sum permit fee of <br />~-~~~~ '~•~~~'~-~~' five hundred dollars {~6~6:9-9-} x$500.00) shall <br />be charged for all permits issued pursuant to the original <br />plans as approved. This will include the cost of all permits <br />issued for .construction, original heating and air <br />conditioning, plumbing and electrical work, certificate of <br />occupancy and final inspection fee, but will not include the <br />hereinafter described fee of the Municipal Engineer when he is <br />requested by the Building Commissioner to set the grade, nor <br />will it include the cost of additional inspections made by the <br />Building Commissioner to secure compliance with the Municipal <br />ordinances, as hereinafter set forth, nor will it include the <br />cost of a permit for the construction of detached garages and <br />accessory buildings, for which permit fees shall be charged in <br />the manner hereinafter set forth. While the permit holder <br />will still be required to obtain permits from the Building <br />Commissioner for the separate portions of the work hereinafter <br />described to make certain that the work will be properly done, <br />there will be no separate permit fee for same when the total <br />lump sum permit fee is paid. <br />SECTION 8. That Section 1309.05 of the Codified Ordinances is <br />hereby and herein amended to read as follows: <br />1309.05 SEPARATE PERMIT FEES. <br />The following schedule of separate permit fees shall be <br />used where the total lump sum fees do not apply: <br />(a) Detached Garaqes and Other Accessory Buildings.
