WoYking with staff to identify and monitox the implementation responsibiliries, and <br />the deployment of resources among staff, consultants, elected/appointed officials, etc. <br />d. Identifying (and if requested, formulating) necessary zoning amendments, design <br />guidelines and/or proceduxes that might be effective. <br />2. Suggesting/developing modifications to the 2020 Vision <br />a. Identifying possibilities. <br />b. Seeking consensus on the directions. <br />c. Formulating implementation appYOaches - siinilaY to the list in #1, above. <br />3. Identifying impediments and recommending solutions related to day-to-day "public <br />interest/quality of life issues." Specific tasks could be, but are not limited to: <br />a. Understanding needs/concerns of stakeholders. <br />b. Identifying needed zoning amendments. <br />c. Altering admitustrative procedures Yelated to plan xeview, etc. <br />d. Identifying maxketing/nublic relations needs and appYOaches. <br />4. Coordinating activities with stakeholders, consultants and staff. <br />For all of these services D. B. Haxtt will be working in close coordination with the Village staff to <br />assure that both the professional and financial resouxces are used most wisely. To this end we <br />will jointly monitor, on a Yeasonably continuing basis, the allocation of the xesources and the <br />effectiveness of the identified apptoaches. Adjustments will be recommended and made, as <br />appropriate. <br />Compensation for these services is proposed as follows: <br />1. For continuing consultation and attendance at regulaY Village meetings $2,000 per month <br />which includes fees and "out of pocket expenses" such as printing and travel expenses. <br />Specifically this will include: attencling three (3) formal meetings pex month with Planning <br />Coiiimissior, Council, or cotrunittees; formulating the strategies and pYOCedures to advance <br />the two primary purposes of these services; assigiiing xesponsibilities for proceeding and <br />monitoYing pYOgress; and providing routine consultation (phone or in pexson) with Village <br />officials (elected, appointed and staff), residents, and business tenants or owners relateci to <br />carrying out the services outlined herein. <br />? ?.. .e <br />2 <br />planning and development r.ansultants
