RESOLUTION N0.2006-01 PAGE TWO WHEREAS, following additional research, it was discovered that during birthdays in the life of Service Director Metzung, the following events occurred: • 1958 -Jerry Lee Lewis "Great Balls of Fire" reaches #1 • 1967 -PBS began as a 70's station network • 1984 -Claire Peller first asks "Where's The Beef?" • 1996 -Jimmy Johnson announced as new coach of Miami Dolphins WHEREAS, after the foregoing research, it was decided that more intensive review of the events on January 10~', prior to the birth of Service Metzung was necessary. The following was discovered: • 69 -The Roman Emperor GALBA adopts Marcus Piso Licinianus as Caesar. • 1901- Oil discovered in Texas • 1944 -First Mobile Electric Power Plant Delivered in Philadelphia • 1949 -RCA introduces the 45 RPM Record WHEREAS, following his matriculation he began casting his pearls upon the City of Willowick. WHEREAS, after reorganizing the City of Willowick and putting it in its place, Service Director Metzung left the City for the greener pastures of Mayfield and Village and immediately commenced greatly admired improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: Mayor Rinker and Council acknowledge their Service Director who will be achieving Half a Century (i.e., 50, Fifty, L years) Old Status on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at 12:00 a.m. Section 1. Mayor Bruce G. Rinker and Council fmd and determine that their very own Service Director, who recently received the Best Art Direction and Promotion in a Recycling Program Trash Oscar (e.g., Grouch) from the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District should be awarded the highest prescription of reading glasses for the purpose of deciphering the little lines and writing on the blueprints.. ~, _ ,' Section 2.
