7 Solicitations at Private Residences 739.99 <br />739.08 REVOCATION OF PERMIT OR REGISTRATION. <br />The Police Chief, for any of the following reasons, may revoke a permit or registration <br />under this chapter: <br />(a) It is subsequently determined that the applicant provided false, misleading or <br />deceptive information in completing the application form set forth in Section <br />739.03. <br />(b) The applicant has been convicted of a felony violation or misdemeanor violation <br />involving moral turpitude. <br />(c) The applicant is found to be in violation of any provision of this chapter. <br />Written notice shall be given to the registrant in person or by certified mail immediately <br />upon such revocation. , <br />(Ord. 2006-04. Passed 3-20-06.) <br />739.09 DO NOT SOLICIT REGISTRY. <br />The Village will maintain a list of residences that request not to be solicited, peddled or <br />canvassed. This list will be maintained at the Police Department and will be provided to every <br />applicant for a permit or registrant. The list will be updated on a yearly basis. In order to be <br />included on the Do Not Solicit Registry a request in writing must be submitted to the Police <br />Chief. The request must be signed by at least one owner of the property, include the street <br />address of the property and phone number for contact purposes. Inclusion on the Do Not <br />Solicit Registry shall not be in any way deemed a waiver of the requirements set forth herein at <br />Section 739.07, Trespassing in violation of Posted Signs. <br />(Ord. 2006-04. Passed 3-20-06.) <br />739.99 PENALTY. <br />Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the <br />second degree and shall be subject to the penalties set forth in Section 501.99 of the Codified <br />Ordinances.
