Collective Bargaining Agreement between <br />Mayfie[d Vi[lage and the I.A.F.F Loca12619 <br />Section 21.5. Effective January 1, 2006, all members of the bargaining unit hired before <br />January 1, 2000 and certified as a paramedic shall be paid a yearly premium of Two thousand, <br />nine hundred fifty and 00/100 dollars ($2,950.00). Effective January 1, 2007 all members of the <br />bargaining unit certified as a paramedic shall be paid a yearly premium of Three thousand and <br />00/100 dollars ($3,000.00). Effective January 1, 2008 all members of the bargaining unit <br />certified as a paramedic shall be paid a yearly premium of Three thousand, fifty and 00/100 <br />dollars ($3,050.00). Effective January 1, 2009, all members of the baxgaining unit certified as a <br />paramedic shall be paid a yearly premium of Three thousand, one hundred and 00/100 dollars <br />($3,100.00). Effective January l, 2010 all members of the bargaining unit certified as a <br />paramedic shall be paid a yearly premium of Three thousand, one hundred fifty and 00/100 <br />dollars ($3,150.00). The premium shall be paid in monthly installments over the calendar year. <br />Effective January 1, 2006, all members of the bargaining unit hired after January 1, 2000 and <br />cerEified as a paramedic shall be paid a yearly premium of one thousand, nine hundred fifty and <br />00/100 dollars ($1,950.00). Effective January 1, 2007 all members of the bargaining unit hired <br />after January 1, 2000 and certified as a paramedic shall be paid a yearly premium of Two <br />thousand and 00/100 dollars ($2,000.00). Effective January 1, 2008 all members of the <br />bargaining unit hired after January 1, 2000 and certified as a paramedic shall be paid a yearly <br />premium of Two thousand, fifty and 00/100 dollars ($2,050.00). Effective January l, 2009, all <br />members of the bargaining unit hired after'January 1, 2000 and certified as a paramedic shall be <br />paid a yearly premium of Two thousand, one hundred and 00/100 dollars ($2,100.00). Effective <br />January 1, 2010 all members of the bargaining unit hired after January 1, 2000 and certified as a <br />paramedic shall be paid a yearly premium of Two thousand, one hundred fifty and 00/100 dollars <br />($2,150.00). The premium shall be paid in monthly installments over the calendar year. <br />Section 21.6. All employees, covered under this contract, who have earned an Associate Degree <br />relating to the field of their employment, shall be entitled to additional compensation equal to two <br />percent (2%) of their base pay. All employees, covered under this contract, who have 'earned a <br />Bachelor's Degree relating to the field of their employment, shall receive additional compensation <br />equal to four percent (4%) of their base pay. All employees, covered under this contract, who have <br />earned a Master's Degree relating to the field of their employment, shall be entitled to additional <br />compensation equal to six percent (6%) of their base pay. This benefit shall be paid in two (2) <br />installments, during January and July. <br />Section 21.7. Jury Duty, Travel, Conference and Other Expenses <br />1. Internal Revenue Service permissible payment as detennined by the Finance Director <br />per mile is hereby allowed to reimburse employees of the Village who are required to <br />make trips on Village business in their own automobiles, other than transportation to <br />and from work, and to be paid from the Treasury upon approval of the Mayor and the <br />Director of Finance. <br />Page 18 of 38
