Collective Bargaining Agreement between <br />1lfayfield Village and the I.A.F.F. Loca12619 <br />Effective January 1, 2009, for the purposes of computing "optional holidays hours", any new <br />permanent full-time employee hired on or after January lst of each year shall be entitled to the <br />following "optional holiday".hours in their first year of employment: <br />Oational Holiday Hours <br />January lst through February 28th ........................................................108 hours <br />March lst through Apri130t'......... <br />90 hours <br />May lst through June 30th ................................................................... 72 hours <br />July 1 S` through August 315. ................................................................ 54 hours <br />September lst through October 31St ................................................... 36 hours <br />November lst through December 315t ...............................................18 hours <br />Section 25.8. The scheduling of such "optional days/tours" is subject to the approval of the Fire <br />Chief. <br />ARTICLE 26 <br />LONGEVITY <br />Section 26.1. "Years of Service" shall be defined as the total number of twelve (12) month periods <br />of service completed on or before December 31s` of each year. Each twelve (12) month period used <br />to compute years of service commences on the anniversary date of the employee's first date of <br />employment and ends on the last day prior to the employee's next consecutive anniversary date. <br />Section 26.2. The only service that shall be used to compute longevity pay shall be years of service <br />as a full-time employee of Mayfield Village. <br />Section 26.3. Each full-time employee of the Municipality shall be entitled to longevity pay <br />increases in accordance with the following schedule: <br />Section 26.4. All full-time employees of the Municipality as of the date of passage hereof shall <br />retain for the purposes of computing their longevity pay, the years of service credited to their <br />employment with the Municipality, as currently appears on the personnel and payroll records of the <br />Village. Longevity benefit will be paid after the first of December each year but no later than the first <br />pay period of December. Each full-time member of the bargaining unit shall be entitled to longevity <br />pay increases in accordance with the schedule provided below: <br />Page 24 of 38
