ORDINANCE NO. 97- 19 PAGE 2 <br />Section 4. The Clerk of Council shall cause a notice of the passage of this <br />ordinance to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation in this Village and shall <br />keep on file in the office of the Clerlc of Council the special assessments. <br />Section 5. The Clerk of Council shall deliver a certified copy of this ordinance to <br />the County Auditor within 20 days after its passage. <br />Section 6. This Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were taken in an open meeting of this <br />Council and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in <br />those formal actions were in meetings open to the public in compliance with the law. <br />Section 7. This ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for <br />the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of this Village and for the <br />further reason that this ordinance must be immediately effective so that the levy of special <br />assessments is effective at once to begin the cash payment period in order that the special <br />assessments can be certified to the County Auditor this year and save interest costs to the <br />property owners; wherefore, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />~ ~- <br />M ' lc Fixler esident of Council <br />First reading: _ <br />Second reading: <br />Third reading: <br />PASS] <br />APPR <br />APPR <br />May 19, 1997 <br />Suspended <br />Suspended <br />Donna J. ea h, Clerk of Council <br />
