ORDINANCE NO. 97- 19 PAGE 2 Section 4. The Clerk of Council shall cause a notice of the passage of this ordinance to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation in this Village and shall keep on file in the office of the Clerlc of Council the special assessments. Section 5. The Clerk of Council shall deliver a certified copy of this ordinance to the County Auditor within 20 days after its passage. Section 6. This Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were taken in an open meeting of this Council and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in those formal actions were in meetings open to the public in compliance with the law. Section 7. This ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of this Village and for the further reason that this ordinance must be immediately effective so that the levy of special assessments is effective at once to begin the cash payment period in order that the special assessments can be certified to the County Auditor this year and save interest costs to the property owners; wherefore, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. ~ ~- M ' lc Fixler esident of Council First reading: _ Second reading: Third reading: PASS] APPR APPR May 19, 1997 Suspended Suspended Donna J. ea h, Clerk of Council
