ASgu~NT HE NECESSARY APPURTENANCES THERETO, IN WORTON <br />PARK DRIVE, NORTH WOODLANE DRIVE, WOODLANE DRIVE, <br />SOUTH WOODLANE DRIVE AND NORMAN LANE, BETWEEN <br />CERTAIN TERMINI, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council, by Ordinance No. 97-19 passed May 19, 1997 levied <br />special assessments against the properties therein described for the construction of sanitary <br />sewers, together with service connections therefor and the necessary appurtenances thereto, in <br />Worton Park Drive, North Woodlane Drive, Woodlane Drive, South Woodlane Drive and <br />Norman Lane, between certain termini; and <br />WHEREAS, after the passage of that ordinance, further grant monies became <br />available to the Village which were used to reduce the amount of the property owners' portion <br />of the cost of that improvement, requiring the reduction of the amount assessed and a revision <br />of the list of special assessments adopted by that ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Finance accepted that lesser amount from those Village <br />residents electing to pay the special assessments against their properties in cash; and <br />WHEREAS, it is now necessary to amend that ordinance and to ratify the actions <br />of the Director of Finance; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of Mayfield Village, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. In order to adopt the revised assessment list referenced to in the <br />preambles and to ratify the actions of the Director of Finance, Section 1 of Ordinance No. <br />97- 19, passed on May 19, 1997, is amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 1. The special assessments for the cost and expense of <br />constructing sanitary sewers, together with service connections therefor <br />and the necessary appurtenances thereto, in Worton Park Drive from an <br />existing sanitary sewer in Wilson Mills Road to South Woodlane Drive, <br />in North Woodlane Drive from Worton Park Drive to Woodlane Drive, <br />in Woodlane Drive from North Woodlane Drive to South Woodlane <br />Drive, in South Woodlane Drive from Woodlane Drive easterly <br />approximately 715 feet and from a point approximately 165 feet <br />westerly of Worton Park Drive easterly approximately 355 feet to the <br />terminus of South Woodlane Drive and in Norman Lane from Worton <br />Parlc Drive to a point approximately 130 feet easterly of Woodlane <br />
