ORDINANCE NO. 97- ~ a 8 ~- PAGE 2 <br />Drive in Mayfield Village, Ohio, pursuant to Resolution No. 95-28 <br />adopted June 19, 1995, amounting in the aggregate to $625,980.42, <br />which were filed and are on file with the Clerk of Council, are adopted <br />and confirmed. Those special assessments are levied and assessed upon <br />the lots and lands provided for in Resolution No. 95-28 in the respective <br />amounts set forth in the schedule of special assessments on file, which <br />special assessments are in proportion to the special benefits and are not <br />in excess of any statutory limitation." <br />Section 2. The actions taken by the Director of Finance in connection with the levy <br />of those special assessments are ratified and he is directed to take such further actions which <br />he deems necessary in his judgment to ensure the timely collection of the special assessments <br />in accordance with that ordinance, as hereby amended. <br />Section 3. The amendment herein made shall not extend the period for the payment <br />of those special assessments in cash and Council determines that no further notice relating to <br />the levy of those special assessments is to be given. <br />Section 4. The Clerk of Council shall deliver a certified copy of this ordinance to <br />the County Auditor within 20 days after its passage. <br />Section 5. This Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />and of any of its committees concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were taken <br />in an open meeting of this Council or of any of its committees, and that all deliberations of this <br />Council and of any of its committees that resulted in those formal actions were in meetings <br />open to the public in compliance with the law. <br />Section 6. This ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for <br />the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of this Village and for the <br />further reason that this ordinance must be immediately effective so that the special assessments <br />
