ORDINANCE NO. 97- ~ a 8 ~- PAGE 2 Drive in Mayfield Village, Ohio, pursuant to Resolution No. 95-28 adopted June 19, 1995, amounting in the aggregate to $625,980.42, which were filed and are on file with the Clerk of Council, are adopted and confirmed. Those special assessments are levied and assessed upon the lots and lands provided for in Resolution No. 95-28 in the respective amounts set forth in the schedule of special assessments on file, which special assessments are in proportion to the special benefits and are not in excess of any statutory limitation." Section 2. The actions taken by the Director of Finance in connection with the levy of those special assessments are ratified and he is directed to take such further actions which he deems necessary in his judgment to ensure the timely collection of the special assessments in accordance with that ordinance, as hereby amended. Section 3. The amendment herein made shall not extend the period for the payment of those special assessments in cash and Council determines that no further notice relating to the levy of those special assessments is to be given. Section 4. The Clerk of Council shall deliver a certified copy of this ordinance to the County Auditor within 20 days after its passage. Section 5. This Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council and of any of its committees concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were taken in an open meeting of this Council or of any of its committees, and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in those formal actions were in meetings open to the public in compliance with the law. Section 6. This ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of this Village and for the further reason that this ordinance must be immediately effective so that the special assessments
