01/22/90 ORDINANCE N0. 90-1 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole AN ORDINANCE SUBMITTING TO THE ELECTORATE OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, ORDINANCE 89-42 THAT AMENDS THE PLANNING AND ZONING CODE OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO PROVIDING FOR ALL NECESSARY PROCEDURES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH AND DECLARING AND EMERGENCY WHEREAS, any Ordinance or Resolution amending or repealing the Planning and Zoning Code of Mayfield Village must be approved in compliance with Article III, Section 13, of the Charter of Mayfield Village; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 89-42 has been approved in compliance with Article III, Section 13, of the Charter of Mayfield Village; and WHEREAS, such Ordinance must be submitted to the electors at the next regular scheduled Primary Election to be held in the Municipality more than sixty (60) days after the approval of such Ordinance by Council; and WHEREAS, Article III, Section 14, provides that such election shall be provided for by Ordinance of Council which shall prescribe the manner in which the submission shall be made; and WHEREAS, the Council now wishes to prescribe the manner that Ordinance Number 89-42 will be submitted to the electorate of Mayfield Village; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Article III, Section 14, of the Charter of Mayfield Village, Ohio, the Village Council certifies to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections the following described and attached Ordinance amending the Planning and Zoning Code of Mayfield Village, said proposed Ordinance to be submitted to the electorate of the municipality at the regularly scheduled Primary Election to be held on the 8th day of May, 1990. The proposed Ordi- nance shall be designated by a ballot question number. The proposed Ordinance and the respective ballot question shall be as follows: A. (89-42) Entitled, ''AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1181.03(c) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINING TO THE LOT AREA PER FAMILY IN A CLASS A-3 DISTRICT AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH," the text attached hereto and incorporated herein and identified as "Exhibit A."
