29 Mayor 131.04 <br />(c) Members of the Committee shall serve on the Committee until December 31 <br />of the year in which they were appointed. If, for any reason, there is a vacancy on the <br />Committee and the Mayor determines that such vacancy should be. filled, then the <br />appointment of a successor shall be made in the same manner as an original appointment. <br />(d) The members of the Committee shall serve without compensation. <br />(e) Pursuant to the terms of the Charter,. the Mayor shall supervise the functions <br />and duties of the Committee. Unless otherwise provided by the Mayor, the Chairman <br />of the Committee shall establish meeting dates for the Committee and sha1T preside at <br />all meetings,. <br />(f) Unless otherwise provided by the Mayor it is the function of the Committee to <br />act in an advisory capacity to the Mayor for the planning, preparation and supervision <br />of the annual Village Days event. (Ord. 83-19: Passed 12-12-83. ) <br />131.04 CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE. <br />(a) There is hereby established the Citizens Advisory Committee which shall be <br />constituted and have such powers and duties as hereinafter set forth. <br />(Ord. 83-19. Passed 12-12-83.) <br />(b) The Committee shall consist of not more than fifteen members, all of whom <br />shall be appointed by the Mayor on or after January 1 of each year, such appointments <br />subject to the concurrence of a majority of the members elected to Council. All <br />members shall be residents of the Municipality and shall not hold other municipal <br />elected office. The Committee shall select one of its members to serve as its Chairman. <br />(Ord. 85-24.
