49 Senior Center and Community Room Building 155.05 <br />(d) The cost of repairing any damage to the facility or its contents shall be charged <br />directly to the permit holder, whether an individual or an organization, in occupancy <br />at the time of the damage. <br />(e) Groups or organizations other than families, may contract for the use of the <br />Building for a single event or on a scheduled basis for regularly Yield meetings, such <br />as weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, etc. <br />(f) All individuals and groups using the Building shall be required to remain <br />inside the building during the course of the scheduled event. <br />(g) No tape, thumbtacks, nails, screw-in hooks, staples or other fasteners may <br />be used on any surface in the Building nor shall any decorations be hung from the <br />ceiling. <br />(h) For any event at which there is expected seventy-five or more individuals or <br />twenty-five or more automobiles, the permit holder shall retain the services of a <br />uniform police officer and shall be solely responsible for paying for that service. <br />Police officers hired for this purpose shall be commissioned by the Municipality as a <br />police officer or auxiliary police officer. The police officer shall remain on duty <br />throughout the scheduled event and shall not leave the premises until the building is <br />empty and secured. <br />(i) No individual or group may bring into the Building chairs, tables or other <br />furnishings without the prior written consent of the Mayor. All chairs, tables and <br />furnishings located inside the Building are the sole property of the Municipality and <br />may not be removed from the Building. <br />(Ord. 84-45. Passed 2-18-85.) <br />155.05 USE OF THE SENIOR CENTER AND COMMUNITY ROOM BUILDING. <br />(a) The Municipality shall not be responsible for any damage to any property that <br />an individual or group brings into the Senior Center and Community Room Building to <br />display, exhibit or use, regardless of the cause, nor shall the Municipality be liable <br />to any group for any loss by theft. All articles shall be removed at the end of each use <br />and cannot remain overnight. <br />(b) Chairs, tables and other equipment shall be set up and taken down and returned <br />to the original position by the permit holder. Chairs and tables are not to be placed <br />against the walls. <br />(c) There shall be no additional fee charged for the use of the kitchen with the <br />rental of any of the rooms in the Building. Coffee and other beverages, pastries and <br />refreshments may be served in the individual meeting rooms without the use of the kitchen. <br />1990 Replacement <br />
