373.05 TRAFFIC CODE 98 <br />(c) Application for registration of a bicycle, adult tricycle or unicycle shall be <br />made by the owner, parent or guardian of a minor to the Police Department upon an <br />approved application form furnished by the Police Department. The applicant shall <br />state his name, address, phone number, make, color, serial number, and/or other <br />identifying features of the bicycle, adult tricycle or unicycle as well as any other per- <br />tinent information as may be required. <br />(d) Upon receipt of the completed application for registration and the required fee of <br />one dollar ($1.00), the Police Department shall issue a reflectorized license decal valid <br />during the residence of the applicant within the Municipality or the remaining life of the <br />bicycle, adult tricycle or unicycle. Upon sale of a licensed bicycle, adult tricycle or <br />unicycle the licensee shall remove the license decal. <br />(e) License decals which are defaced or destroyed, shall be replaced by the owner <br />for a fee of one dollar ($1.00). <br />(f) No person shall maliciouly remove, destroy, mutilate or alter any serial <br />number of any bicycle, adult tricycle or unicycle or license decal licensed hereunder. <br />(g) The Police Department shall be notified of any change of address of the owner <br />of a registered bicycle, adult tricycle or unicycle within the Municipality. <br />(h) Reciprocity will be granted between S. P. A. N, municipalities in regard to <br />license decals, when an owner of a licensed bicycle, tricycle or unicycle moves from <br />one municipality to another. (Ord. 74-31. Passed 7-15-74. ) <br />373.05 REGULATIONS FOR YOUNG RIDERS. <br />(a) No person under the age of eleven years shall operate a bicycle, tricycle or <br />unicycle on a street, highway or boulevard which has sidewalks. <br />(b) No person under the age of eleven shall ride a bicycle, tricycle or unicycle <br />across or through any intersection. Such intersections are to be crossed by walking <br />the bicycle, tricycle or unicycle across or through the intersection. <br />(Ord. 74-31. Passed 7-15-74.) <br />1990 Replacement <br />
