TTT Cf'.nPF. <br />(A) These Rules apply to the control of sediment pollution from <br />accelerated water erosion of the following areas: <br />(1) Land used or being developed for residential, as well as <br />apartment-house, restricted multi.-story apartment house, local <br />business, motorist-service, one story-office, <br />office-laboratory, production-distribution or industrial <br />purposes. This includes non-farm commercial, industrial, or <br />residential. land in rural areas. <br />(2) Land used or being developed for streets, roads, highways, <br />railroads, airports, other transportation facilities and <br />utilities, and associated areas. <br />(3) Land used or being developed for private or public recreation, <br />wildlife, or natural purposes. This includes agricultural <br />areas converted or being converted to such uses. <br />(B) This Code does not apply to: <br />(1) Those areas managed jointly as a farming or silvicultural <br />operation or regulated by Ohio Agricultural Sediment Pollution <br />Abatement Rules (15.01:15-3-01) to (1501:15-3-06) and for other <br />activities such as a campground in a commercial. forest or <br />recreational trails on a farm. <br />(2) Strip mining operations regulated by Chapter 151.3 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code. <br />(3) Surface mining operations regulated by Chapter 1514 of the. <br />Ohio Revised. Code. <br />(C) These Rules do not. apply to development areas of less than one <br />acre unless such areas consist of or drain to a sensitive area in <br />which case they do not apply to development. areas of less than <br />twenty (20) thousand square feet; provided, however, that the <br />Village Engineer, at his option, may reduce this exception to a <br />smaller area, and enforce all other sediment pollution abatement <br />rules regardless of development area's size. <br />IV.
