Box 117 Mechanicsville, PA 18934 ~J~~s e~~j PROPOSAL/AGREEMENT (215) 297-5455 This Proposal/Agreement, mad and entered into this day of ~~ ~' ""'r ~ ~ ~ y ~ . by and between herein referred to as the "ASSOCIATION", and BOB JONES PROMOTIONAL ATTRACTIONS INC., of Mechanicsville, PA 18934, herein referred to as the "ATTRACTION". Witnesseth: 1. That the ATTRACTIO~NA~agrees tp provide the Bob Jones Petting Zoo, Live Pony Rides, and Live Camel Rides at ['w'hht-~i(' ~~~~G~ ~~~ for the period or Jui1~ ~- ~. u ~ ~ ~" Said attractions shall be open and operated during the time schedule as directed by the ASSOCIATION., 2. That the petting zoo will consist of 50 - 60 animals, of types compatible to this type of presentation. There will be a mixed variety of both contact and exotic animals for people to enjoy. Included in the collection, but not limited to. may be various sheep and goats. llamas and guanacos, ernu, monkeys, donkeys, farm yard fowl, exotic birds. zebra, zebu, yak, and miniature horses. 3. That the ATTRACTION will provide all the props, and personnel to present this exhibit in a safe and attractive manner. All the fencing. will be colorfully painted and will be decorated with animal caricatures. In ' ~ addition, the ATI~RACTION will provide a simulated caliope playing, "HappyCircus Type",music and a bannerwill be provided proclaiming "Free Admission to the Petting Zoo - Courtesy of the Fair Board". It is understood and agreed that the zoo will be offered as a free attraction to the Association's attendees. 4. That the Pony Ride and the Camel Ride come complete as provided by the ATTRACTION. The ASSOCIATION must provide suitable space for these attractions to operate in a safe and viable manner. For the best exposure, it is suggested that the ponies and the camels be placed immediately next to the petting zoo tent. These two items require a total of 50 feet frontage with as much depth as possible, up to 60 feet. (This is in addition to the space occupied by the Petting Zoo tent) :~ ~ ~ (~ ~ (~ r < ~~ P~~y 30~~0 k~,nt 5. That the ATTRACTION will participate in publicity photos or gimmicks before fair opening, on the fairgrounds, at no additional charges to the ASSOCIATION. The ATTRACTION must be given ample preparation tim/e, and must consider the publicity plan safe and possible to perform to offer this cooperation. 6. That the ASSOCIATION will also provide, at it's own expense, water and electrical hook-ups near the exhibit site. The ATTRACTION will provide the inside lighting from the breaker box forward to the exhibits and the ASSOCIATION will provide the hook-up and connection from the breaker box backward to the power source. The ASSOCIATION shall provide, at it's own expense, a trash container and arrange for it's daily removal. 8. That the ASSOCIATION will provide, at no cost to the ATTRACTION, passes for the ATTRACTION'S staff, and vehicle entrarice and parking permits. Parking for animal vans and house car must be provided near the exhibit site. This parking requirement is necessary for proper cleaning and animal feed storage. Also, in case of an emergency, the animals can be put away safely. (The Humane Society will approve.) It is expected that there will be set;urity provided by the ASSOCIATION during the closed overnight hours.
