Liquidated damages in the sum equal to the down payment <br />plus 257. of the balance due on the lease price shall be <br />owed Builder by Customer in the event customer cancels <br />this contract within five (5) days of parade date. Said <br />cancellation must be received by Builder at the above <br />address, in writing, in order to be effective, and if no <br />such notice is timely received by Builder, Customer shall <br />be liable for the entire price of the float, and any other <br />Sums specified herein. , <br />•5. Customer agrees not to throw any food or nvn-food items <br />~, from float. No smoking, fires or open flames are perm- <br />" itted on any float. Customer agrees to prohibit the <br />wearing of shoes with heels by riders of the float or floats. <br />OTHER CONDITIONS AND AGREEMENTS: <br />1. Transportation rates shall be as follows: <br />{a) $1.50 per mile, per float, for transportation to <br />parade site, plus; <br />{b) $1.50 per mile, per float, for transportation from <br />parade site to Builder's place of business. <br />2. Self-contained floats will be delivered on low boy trailers, <br />" hauled by semi-tractors. <br />3. Builder shall provide all permits required for transportation, <br />through any State, and tie cost for said permits shall. be paid <br />by customer three (3) days prior to the parade date. <br />4. Customer shall furnish a qualified licensed driver and a <br />suitable, properly maintained vehicle to pull each leased <br />float. <br />5. Customer shall provide. Builder's employees or agents with <br />a building having at least four (4) 110 volt electrical <br />outlets for finish assembly of each float. The building must <br />be large enough to accommodate all floats leased by Customer. <br />6. Customer shall provide clean housing, complete with shower <br />facilities for use by drivers, agents, and employees of Builder. <br />Said accomodations shall be provided for the number of days (up <br />to seven (7] days) prior Co parade date Builder in its sole <br />discretion requires. <br />7.
