I ~ ~
EXHIBIT A
SCOPE OF SELtVICFS;
The Scope of Services proposed reflects the activities identified in the
Village's September 19, 1990. The level and detail, sophistication, need,
and equity targeted for developing the program reflects our current
understanding of the project goal and involvement of Village officials.
URS proposes a participatory approach with Mayfield Village. This
approach has been a proven technique in other programs to m;n;m;ze
develo~nent costs, expedite the date of implementation, and generate
authorship throughout the community.
The Scope of Services is organized into two phases by tasks. The tasks
which URS will perform as described with the assistance of the described
effort by the Village will allow the Village to implement the program.
URS has performed other services in the past that serve to enhance level
of detail or supplement the use of our client's staff. These items can be
discussed during the Work Plan phase of the project, or as the program
develops. It is not uncommon to require unanticipated tasks, primarily
associated with completing the legal and financial elements of the
program, as the program evolves. For these reasons, URS has provided a
cost for Additional Services in the Fee Section of the Proposal.
