M.V. RESOLUTION NO. 91- 60 <br />Page 2 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter in agreement establishing <br />cooperative venture with adjacent communities to establish a four <br />hundred MZ Receiver/Transmitter Backbone System required to <br />upgrade the fire emergency medical service radio system. The <br />Council finds and determines that in order to affect such <br />agreement with adjacent communities, such system is of the nature <br />not requiring formal bids for such purchase. <br />SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />and directed to make payment to Radio Communications Specialists <br />in the amount of Five Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($5,800.00) <br />for the establishment of such a system. <br />SECTION 3. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />and directed to establish an account that will be used for any <br />and all maintenance costs associated with the system as provided <br />for in such agreement. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />SECTION 5. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety <br />and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the <br />reason to coordinate emergency services throughout the area. It <br />shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the <br />affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to <br />
