- ORDINANCE NO. 91-05 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 739.03 AND 739.06(b) OF <br />THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION <br />AND HOUR3 OF SOLICITATION AT PRIVATE RESIDENCES <br />WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Section 739.03 of the Codified Ordinances of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, is hereby amended by establishing a fee <br />for a Registration Certificate for purposes of solicitation at <br />private residences within the Municipality. So that the amended <br />Section 739.03 will now read as follows: (Deleted material <br />appears like th'rs and new material appears like THIS) <br />Chapter 739 <br />. Solicitations at Private Residences <br />? <br />* * * <br />7391.03 APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE; FEES <br />Each applicant for a certificate of registration shall, not <br />less than five nor more than fifteen days prior to the <br />commencement of solicitation furnish the Mayor with the following <br />information on forms provided by the Municipality. <br />(a) Name, age and physical description of applicant. <br />(b) Complete permanent and local address of applicant. <br />(c) Name and address of the person, firm, corporation or <br />association for whom the association for whom the <br />applicant has solicited during the past three years. <br />(d) A description of the nature of a business and the <br />goods, services or wares to be sold otherwise <br />sufficient to identify the subject matter of the <br />soliciting in which the applicant will engage. <br />(e) The names of all other municipalities in which the <br />applicant has conducted soliciting activities during <br />the past six months. <br />(f) Whether the applicant has complied with the <br />requirements of Ohio R.C. Chapter 1716 pertaining to <br />charitable solicitations if applicable.
