M.V. ORDINANCE NO. 91-13 Page 6 purchased by the Municipality shall be and remain the property of Mayfield Village, Ohio. 2. The Municipality shall purchase for each newly employed full-time police officer having arrest powers all items listed on Schedule "A", attached hereto. Each newly employed full-time member of the Fire Department shall be reimbursed for the costs of uniforms purchased by that member for use in the member's employment in an amount not exceeding the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). Each newly employed full-time member of the Police Department not having arrest powers shall be reimbursed for the cost of uniforms for us in that member's employment in an amount not to exceed the sum of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00). There shall be no additional uniform allowance during the first year of employment for any of the above-mentioned employees. 3. Commencing with the second (2nd) year of employment, as defined in Subsections D(1) and (2) hereinbelow, and continuing each year there- after, each full-time employee of the Police Department having arrest powers and all full-time employees of the Fire Department shall receive a uniform allowance in the amount of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) per year and each full-time employee of the Police Department not having arrest powers shall receive a uniform allowance in the amount of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00). The amounts stated for uniform allowance herein may also be used for uniform maintenance by the employee. 4. Each newly appointed Auxiliary Police Officer shall receive an allowance in an amount not to exceed the sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) for the purpose of items necessary to equip such officer. The chief of Police will issue a purchase order as required. The Municipality shall purchase for each newly appointed part-time police officer all items listed on Schedule B attached hereto. In the event that such officer is employed as a full-time police officer for another municipality, or has previously served as a Mayfield Village Auxiliary Police Office, and by reason thereof, has already had purchased for him any of the items appearing on Schedule B, and such items are fit for use in Mayfield Village, then the Village will not purchase such items for the officer and he shall not be entitled to receive the cash equivalent of any such item. 5. Each part-time firefighter shall receive an allowance for uniform maintenance in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) provided such part-time firefighter attends at least twenty (20) drills annually. Any part-time firefighter who does not attend at least twenty (20) drills during the year forfeits any right to uniform allowance for the next calendar year. 6. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to reimburse all members of the Police and Fire Departments for expenditures made in accordance with Subsections B(2), (3), (4) and (5) hereinabove, provided, how-
