The notice may be served by delivering it personally to the owner or leaving it at the owner's usual place of business or residence, or by posting it in a conspicuous place on the real estate, building or structure involved, or by mailing it to the owner, or by publishing it once in a newspaper of general circulation within the Village if it cannot be served in any of the other ways above mentioned. 523.06 PENALTY. Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this Chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for the first offense. Whoever shall be convicted of a violation of this Chapter for a second or subsequent offense within a period of two (2) years from the date of the next prior conviction shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and shall be fined not more than Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) or imprisoned for not more than thirty days (30) or both. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense. 523.07 RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER LAWS. The authority to abate nuisances granted hereby and the procedure set forth herein shall be in additional to and shall not limit the authority to abate nuisances granted in other Ordinances of the Village of Mayfield or the Laws.and Constitution of Ohio. SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took„place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
