(91-20) Entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1173 <br />OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />PERTAINING TO OFFICE-LABORATORY USE AND AREA <br />REGULATIONS IN THE PRODUCTION-DISTRIBUTION DISTRICT AND <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH" the <br />text attached hereto and incorporated herein and <br />identified as "Exhibit A." <br />The question to appear on the ballot shall be as follows: <br />A. SHALL ORDINANCE NO. 91-20, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 1173 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINING TO THE MAXIMUM LOT COVERAGE <br />OF PRODUCTION-DISTRIBUTION ESTABLISHMENTS AND OFF- <br />STREET PARKING IN A PRODUCTION-DISTRIBUTION DISTRICT <br />WHEN USED AS AN OFFICE AND/OR LABORATORY, BE ADOPTED? <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and <br />directed to certify a copy of the Ordinance to the Cuyahoga <br />County Board of Elections not less than sixty (60) days prior to <br />the General Election on November 5, 1991, in order to have the <br />Ordinance and issue contained herein placed on the ballot for <br />this said General Election and to take whatever other steps are <br />necessary in order to comply with all directives of the said <br />Board of Elections in order to secure placement on the ballot as <br />aforesaid. <br />SECTION 3. The Director of Law is hereby authorized and <br />directed to confer with the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio and the Secretary of State of Ohio, regarding the <br />ballot question and to make any changes necessary to comply with <br />current election law so long as the substance of any issue is not <br />changed. In the event of the necessity of a substantial change <br />of any issue, the Council shall first be consulted. <br />SECTION 4. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and <br />directed either mail a copy of the full text of the proposed <br />Ordinance at least thirty (30) days prior to the date of the <br />election set forth in this Ordinance to each elector of the <br />Municipality whose name appears upon the registration books for <br />the last regular election held in the Municipality or shall cause <br />the full text of the proposed Ordinance to be published once a <br />week for not less than two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper <br />of general circulation in the Municipality with the first <br />publication being at least fifteen (15) days prior to the <br />election.
