INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE . <br />PROVIDING FOR THE SIIBMIS3ION TO THE ELECTORATE <br />OF ORDINANCE NO. 91-35 PERTAINING TO THE NECESSITY AND INTENTIOPT <br />?, <br />OF APPROPRIATING CERTAIN PROPERTY HEARING PERMANENT PARCEL NOS. <br />831-05-066, 831-07-001 AND 831-07-002? COMMONLY RNOWN AS PARKVIEW <br />GOLF COURSE., FOR PUBLIC PARR PURPOSES, INCLUDING A MIINICIPAL GOLF <br />COURSE,PROVIDING FOR ALL NECESSARY PROCEDURES IN CONNECTION <br />THEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-35 declares the necessity and <br />intention of appropriating certain property, bearing Permanent <br />Parcel Nos. 831-05-066, 831-07-001 and 831-07-002, commonly known <br />as Parkview Golf Course, for public park purposes, including a <br />municipal golf course; and ° <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No 91-35 was passed by the Council of <br />Mayfield Village as an emergency measure on July 29, 1991; and <br />WHEREAS, under,Article VII, Section 2!of the Charter of <br />-- Mayfield Village, a referendum petition may be filed with the <br />Clerk of Council within thirty (30) days after the enactment of <br />an Ordinance requesting that such Ordinance be repealed or <br />submitted to a vote by the electors; and <br />WHEREAS, if such petition is signed by qualified electors <br />.equaT in number to at least twenty percent'(20%) of the total <br />votes cast at the last regular municipal election, then the day <br />of the election may be fixed therein; and `?, <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of Council has certified to the Council <br />of Mayfield Village that a petition was filed by qualified <br />electors equal in number to at least twenty percent (20%) of the <br />total votes cast at the last regular election, requesting a <br />special election on February 4, 1991; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village, having failed to <br />repeal such Ordinance, must propose such Ordinance for approval <br />or rejection by the majority of the electors voting thereon at a <br />special election to be held on February 4,:1992; now, therefore <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT:
