ORDINANCE NO. 91-52 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 1173.07(A)(2) PERTAINING <br />TO THE STANDARDS AND DESIGNS FOR PARKING <br />FACILITIES IN THE MOTORIST SERVICE, <br />OFFICE-LABORATORY AND PRODUCTION- <br />DISTRIBUTION DISTRICTS AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Section 1173.07(a)(2) of the Codified Ordinance <br />of Mayfield Village is hereby amended pertaining to the standards <br />in design for parking facilities in a Motor Service, Office <br />Laboratory and Production District so as to reduce the width of <br />such spaces so that new Section 1173.07(A)(2) shall read as <br />follows: <br />Chapter 1173 <br />Motorist Service, Office Laboratory, <br />and Production Distribution District <br />, <br />? * * <br />1173.07 OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING <br />Off-street parking and off-street loading facilities shall <br />be provided as a condition precedent to the occupancy and <br />maintenance of any use whenever a building is constructed or <br />altered. <br />(a) Standards and Design for Parking Facilities. <br /> <br />(2) Location and size. The facilities shall be <br />located on the same lot as the main building or <br />use served. Each parking space shall be not less <br />than 190 square feet, nine and one-half feet by <br />twenty feet, exclusive of drives and turning <br />spaces. In the event that the main building is <br />used by one corporate entity, employing in excess <br />of 1,500 people at such site, then such space <br />shall not be less than 180 square feet, nine feet <br />by twenty feet. Parking fac'ilities shall be <br />provided on the same lot as the main use served in <br />industrial districts. Wherever the application of <br />the standards as required in subparagraph (1)C. <br />hereof, as to "number of employees", results in a <br />- lesser number of parking spaces than required by <br />, the application of tYie standard as to "square feet
