It is understood and agreed that the Village will establish a "Health Care Task Force" comprised of appropriate representatives of the Village administration and Village employees, including representatives of the F.O.P., the I.A.F.F., and representatives from each .department. The Task Force will be expected to study the problems of health care and health care cost containment and then formulate recommendations which will be considered by the Village. Section 29.3. Effective January 1, 2009, employee contributions shall be Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per month per member for family coverage and Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) per month per member for single coverage, which shall be deducted from each employee's pay through automatic payroll deduction. Effective January 1, 2011, employee.contributions will increase by 25% of any premiums paid over the 2010 Cost. Section 29.4. Ariy permanent full-time non-probationary employee, who is otherwise eligible to be covered under a contract of hospitalization and medical coverage but voluntarily withdraws from the above-referenced insurance coverage, shall be paid Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) per month in lieu of family coverage and One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per month in lieu of single coverage: These payments shall be made in equal quarterly installments. These payments will not be made to any person who is otherwise covered under the Employer's policy through a spouse or other family member. ARTICLE 30 SHIM EXCHANGE Section 30.1. Employees shall have the right to exchange shifts with ~ the Fire Chief's permission, when the change does not interfere. with the operation of the Fire Department and the number of paramedics on duty does not fall below two (2) and the resulting shift exchange does not result in the payment by the Village of overtime to any employees. Exchanges may be for the entire twenty-four (24) hour shift, or any part thereof, in minimum increments of one (1) hour. 26
