V. NIMS Compliance <br />In ordez to receive F Y 2010 SHSP funding, the County EMA is required to certify as part of their <br />grant application that they are addressing and/or have met the FY09 NIMS requu•ements.. Please <br />z•efer to the NIMS Certification form, which is included in the application packet for• a listing of <br />the Fiscal Year• 2009 NIMS compliance requirements that should have been met. Investment Areas and Eligible Program Activities <br />As mentioned in section II, F1'2010 HSGP required Ohio to submit a State Investment <br />.Justification. The Investment .Justification outlined the initiatives that will be accomplished and <br />thus funded via the FY2010 SHSP. As er~ f'eder~al r~estr~ctions no local a lications written <br />outside of the scope identified in the State Investment Justification will be fended via the <br />FY2010 HSGP. <br />F or FY2010 SHSP _I_ocal pr•oiect(s) applications must directly align with one or• more of the <br />investment areas. in the table below. Allowable Pr•ogr~am Costs <br />the allowatite costs under the FY2010 SHSP giant'are divided into ftve program categories: <br />Planning, Equipment, Iraining, Exercises, and Administration. Activities implemented under <br />SHSP must support terrorism preparedness and build or enhance capabilities as they relate to the <br />State Investment .Justifcation. <br />Activities implemented under SHSP must support terrorisrri preparedness by building or <br />enhancing capabilities that relate to the pz•evention of; protection from, response to, and recovery <br />from terx•orism.in or•der• to be considered eligible. However, many capabilities which support <br />terrorism preparedness simultaneously support preparedness for other hazards.
