Ch. 1333 <br />1345.01 DEFIIVITIONS. <br />For the purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall be pertinent unless <br />the context requires otherwise: <br />(a) "Garbage" means waste or refuse of fruit, vegetable or animal matter, or other <br />solid or liquid kitchen waste materials resulting from the preparation and handling <br />of any food and/or drink, or the cooking of, processing of, dealing in or storage <br />of ineat, fish, fowl, fruit or vegetables. <br />(b) "Mechanical garbage disposer" means a motorized device suitable for installation <br />in direct connection with a kitchen sink, that grinds garbage to such a size as to be <br />readily waterbvrne, and discharges such ground garbage directIy into a sanitary <br />sewerage system or septic tank, <br />(c) "Incineratar" means a structure or apparatus within which garbage and other <br />wastes, refuse and trash can be consumed by combustion or dehydration, and <br />specifically designed, constructed and approved for the above purpose, <br />(d) "Dwelling unit" means a single-family residence or a flat, suite or apartment in a <br />two-family residence or multiple family residence building. <br />(e) "Commerciat building" means any store, storeroom, warehouse, office or office <br />building, filling and/or automobile service station, theater, garage, auto wash ar <br />bank in which goods or services are sold, offered for saIe, and/or services <br />performed or amusements or entertainment for the public offered. <br />(fl "Public building" meatts any meeting place, Iodge room, church, library, school, <br />dormitory, college, hospital, sanitarium, nursery or other structure designed for use <br />by twenty-five or more persons.
