AGREEMENT <br />between <br />BOARD OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />and <br />Mayfield Village <br />for <br />FY 2008 ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANT PROGRAM <br />LOCAL MATCH FUNDS <br />THIS AGREEMENT entered into this day of , 2009, by and <br />between the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br />OI3IO ((hereinafter called the "COLTNTY') a political subdivision of the State of Ohio, <br />located at County Administration Building, 1219 Ontario Street, Cleveland, OH 44113, and <br />Mayfield Village (hereinafter called the "CITY") a municipality and a political subdivision of <br />the State of Ohio located at 6622 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143. <br />WHEREAS, the COUNTY has allocated funding to the Regional Planning Unit <br />known as the Department of Justice Affairs, Public Safety Grants Administration for the <br />purpose of providing local matching funds for State and Federal public safety initiatives as <br />related to improving radio coverage and interoperability throughout the COUNTY by <br />establishing an 800 MHz APCO Project 25 digital trunked communications system that will <br />provide capability and reliability for all public safety organizations within Cuyahoga County; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded the FY <br />2008 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (hereinafter called the "FY08 AFG") to the CITY for <br />the purpose of funding the Interoperability Project, providing communications equipment and <br />services for the CITY's fire services, conditioned upon local matching funds from the <br />COiJNTY through the Regional Planning Unit for operation of the project. The following <br />documents consisting of Attachment I, Attachment II, and Exhibit A are incorporated herein <br />as part of this Agreement: <br />EXHIBIT A TO ORDINANCE N0. 2009-39
