Accepiab[e dacurnentation includes: <br />• Certificales af cornpletion for the required training. <br />* Short narrative statements exp[aining how the credential requirements have been met, <br />Training Provided by Non-pHS'1'ratining Prnviders <br />Grantees rriust request prior apprava] ta complete/host or attend any non-DI-IS or State <br />approvcd coursc. Requcsts for this training must bc pre-approved by the OEMA Training <br />Section riUr to seheduling, conducting, ar attending the course. To requcst approvAl for such a <br />eQUrse, the County must dcscribe in the project narrative how the course: <br />• Falls within DT-IS's mission scope to prepare State and lacaS personnel to prevent, <br />protect, respond to, and recover from acts of terrarism and ca#astrophic evcnts; <br />• Builds additional capabilities that support a specific training nccd identified by the <br />State, county, or jurisdiction, and/or eornports with the Statc, caurity ar jurisdictions <br />homeland seeuriry sirategy; <br />• Addresses specific capabilitics and relatcd tasks articuilated in DHS's Emergency <br />Rcsponder Guidelines and the Homeland Security Guidelines for Prcvcntion and <br />17etorrence; <br />? <br />- - - - <br />- - ---- - ?- crdresses--specific capabilities and related tasks articulated in the Target Capabiiities <br />List (TCL) and the Universal 'I"ask List (C,J'fL); <br />• Catnports with a;l applicable Fcderal, State, and local regulations, ceriikications, <br />guidelines, and policies deemed apprapriate for the typc and level vf training. <br />Additionally, idcntify in project narrative the following speciFic iiiformation: <br />• Title oI` the caurse <br />• Course description <br />• Mission area <br />•[.evel of training.(e.g. Awarene5s, Opcraticros/Yerforrnance, I'echnician, Cominand) <br />Page 14, September, 2007
