CENTER/WHITE ROA.D WIDENING <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY ACQUiSITION <br />URS CO]E2PORA'I'IOllT/NdAY?IELi2 VIILI.AGE <br />AGREEMENT DATED FEBRUARY 3,1998 <br />MODIFICATION NO. 9- Dated May 28, 2003 <br />This Work Order Task is being performed as an extension of the Professionai Engineering Services <br />Agreement between Mayfield Village and URS Corporation (URS), formerly lrnown as URS <br />Greiner, dated February 3, 1998. .All terms and conditions stated therein are incorporated into this <br />Work Order by reference. The Mod No. 9 motliftcations to the base dvcument, whick was <br />previously approved by tke Client, are annotated by bold italics fotrt. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />URS will provide the following services to assist the Client in acquiring an estimated 9 acres of strip <br />right-of-way take from approximately 99 parcels associated with the widening and reconstruction of <br />S.O.M. Center/White Roads. S.O.M. Center Road would be widened to five (5) lanes for an <br />estimated length oftwelve thousand seven- hundred(12,700) lineal foot_ White Road would-be <br />widened to three (3) lanes for an estimated length of twelve hundred (1,200) lineal foot. The right- <br />of-way acquisition will be performed in accordance with the Uniform Relocation Act and ODOT <br />polices. - <br />URS shall retain the services of an ODOT prequalified right-of-way subconsuitant to assist in title <br />exams, appraisal services, and closings. The Client shall provide all legal documents and recording <br />of the right-of-way takes. <br />The services to be provided under this work order are as follows: <br />1. Based upon the preluninary Right-of-Way plans, the Right-of-Way Acquisirion team (fhe <br />Client, Law Director and Consultant representatives) wil] hold a coordination meeting to <br />discuss right-of way proiocol. and docuxnentation cequirements. <br />URS shall prepare title exams and appraisals. of each proposed take, consistent with OI30T <br />requirements and wiIl prepare letters to each property owner describing the project, the <br />required take, the property ownecs. rights under the Uniform Relocation Act, and the <br />appraised value of the take. URS shall mail the letters, utilizing certified mail, to all parties <br />who have been identified as having an-interest in the property rights being acquired. <br />iJRS shall assist the Client by scheduling meetings with property owners, attending those <br />meetings as necessary, and assisting in the negotiations and documenting the negotiation <br />process. <br />4. URS shall obtain right-of-entry documents to allow utility relocation activities to proceed <br />prior to property closings..
