Due to the incrcase ofthe adc?iitional island, the pavement area was x?educed 'from 84,192 SY to $3,620 SY: the reduction of pavement area and the introductioa of the additional island adversely affected the Contractor's production xates thus resulti.ng in a renegatiated unit price for the pavement.
