All terms and conditions stated
therein are incorporated into this Work Order by reference. Thts Work Order represents new services
being incorporated ento tl:e agreement as part of the general Modification No. 6.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
URS will provide the following services for the design and plan preparation documents needed for a
waterline loop from the existing waterline on North Chagrin Commons Boulevard to Highland Road to
provide further redundancy in the water system which serves the Progressive Campus. The design and plan
preparation services would be performed to be consistent with City of Cleveland, Division of Water and
Ohio EPA standards.
Task One - Desi%!n and Plan Preparation :
1. URS shall meet with the Village to review the exact requirements of the waterline improvements and
to establish time frames for submission of the construction documents.
URS, in cooperation with the appropriate Village personnel, shall develop and confirm design
philosophies, routing, alignment, waterline sizes, fire hydrant locations, and other related design
elements. URS shall prepare construction drawings and specifications of sufficient detail to receive
City of Cleveland, Division of Water and the Ohio EPA plan approval for construction of the project.
The waterline plan and profile sheets will be prepared on a scale of 1" =20'. The waterline project
limits are as follows: The new waterline loop from North Common Boulevard south to Highland Road.
This waterline loop will begin at the southem end of the existing 12-inch waterline on North
Commons Boulevard and continue south/parallel to the property line between the Progressive Campus
and Mayfield Village. The waterline will then continue due south and parallel to the eastern property
line of the CEI property across the Goldberg property. URS is proposing to locate the 12-inch
waterline outside of the CEI property and within an easement across the Goldberg properly. The waterline will
then continue due south across the Goldberg property and then across Parcel 15, (owner is Francis
Haines) to Highland Road. The new 12-inch waterline will connect to the existing 16-inch waterline
along Highland Road. The total length across private properties not owned by Mayfield Village is
1,750 lin. ft.
