URS shall prepare and submit the necessary documents to the City of Cleveland, Division of Water, <br />and the Ohio EPA associated with the waterline improvements, for plan approval. URS shall meet <br />with the City of Cleveland and the Ohio EPA if necessary to answer any questions and facilitate the <br />plan approval process. Upon approval, URS will provide the Village one (1) set of reproducible <br />originals and two (2) complete sets of copies of the construction documents. <br />6. URS shall deternune the need and locations for soil borings and other geotechnical information, as <br />required, and shall coordinate the performance of the soil borings and analysis. URS shall <br />incoiporate the soil borings and geotechnical information and recommendations into the final <br />contract documents. <br />7. URS shall prepare detailed easement and land purchase description documents that can be used by <br />the Village or its agents in negotiating easements and land purchase with the appropriate property <br />owners. Such documents shall include the complete listing of all names and addresses of the owners <br />of the properties involved. Any property and boundary surveys, which may be required other than <br />for the new 12-inch waterline loop from North Common Boulevard to Highland Road shall be <br />performed as additional services to this Agreement. <br />URS shall perform a general site walkover of the waterline route between North Common Boulevard <br />and Highland Road to preliminarily identify potential environmental constraints associated with the <br />proposed waterline route. URS shall perform general agency coordination/file research to confirm <br />the applicability of national permits. Environmental factors, which will be reviewed, include <br />wetlands, cultural, historical, flood hazard, and biological. Further evaluation, studies and/or <br />individual permits, which may be required as a result of these initial investigations, would be <br />performed as an additional service under this agreement. <br />URS shall prepare schedules of quantities and a final probable cost of construction. <br />10. URS shall meet with the Village throughout the course of project to review the progress of the <br />services and obtain input and to respond to comments as necessary to finalize the services. <br />ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />URS shall provide services for this project, in addition to those services set forth in Scope of Services, <br />when so authorized by the Village. Such services shall consist of providing any services not otherwise <br />included in this Proposal or not customarily furnished in accordance with generally accepted engineering <br />practice. The increased scope of work and additional compensation for Additional Services shall be agreed <br />to in writing by the Village and URS prior to commencement of the Additional Services work. An <br />example of potential additional services which may be encountered on this project are as follows: <br />The performance of additional field surveying, property boundary surveys and/or preparation of <br />permanent easements other than which is required for the new 12-inch waterline loop between North <br />Common Boulevard and Highland Road. <br />2.
