Tkis Wnrk Order represents ncw services <br />being incorporated into tlie agreement as part of 1he genernl Modi,,fiai ¢tion No. 6. <br />SCOPE OF SERvICES <br />URS will pYOvide the following services for the design and plan prepari1ion documents needed for a <br />waterline loop from the existing waterline on North Chagrin Commons Boulevazd to Highland Road to <br />provide further redundancy in the water system which serves the Progm;:ssive Campus. 'Ihe design and plan <br />preparation services would be performed to Uc consistent with Ciry af t;leveland, Division of Water and <br />Ohio L-PA standards. <br />Task One - Desi and Plan Pre ar9tion : <br />1. URS shall meet with the Village to review the exact requiremcnts i tf the waterline improvements and <br />to establish time frames for submission of the constiuetion docume,nts. <br />2. URS, in cooperation with tbe appropriate Village personnel, shall ?levclop and confirm design <br />philosophies, routing, alignment, watetline sizes, fire hydrant locai ions, and other related design <br />elements. URS shall prepare eonstruction drawings and specifications of'suffieient detail to receive <br />Ciry of Cleveland, Division oF Water and the Ohio EPA plan appruval for construction of the project. <br />The waterline plan and profile sheets will be prepared on a scale ol` 1" =20'. The waterline project <br />limits are as follows: The new watexline loop from North Commori Boulevard south to Highland Road. <br />This waterline loop will begin at the southem end of the existing 1 Z-inch watcrline on North <br />Commons Boulevazd and conCinue south/parallel to the propt7ta lii ie between the Progressive Campus <br />and Mayfield Village. The waterline wi11 then continue due soLath and parallcl to the eastem properiy <br />line of the CEI property across the Goldberg proptrty. URS is prm posing to locate the 12-inch <br />waterline ovtside of the CE1 property and within an easement acto-as the Groldberg property. It is <br />hishly un]ikely that the Village will obtain approval to install the proposed 12-inch waterline within <br />the CEI propcrey based upon our teleghone conversati0t7s with CL [ representativeS. The total length of <br />new 12-inch waterline up to the Goldberg property is approximati! y 2,7501in_ ft_ The waterline w111 <br />then conlinue due south across the Goldberg property and then acr:)ss Pazcel 15, (owner is Ptancis <br />Haines) to Highland Road. The new 12-izieh waterline will connci:t to the existing 16-inch watcrline <br />alonb Highland Road. The total length across private properiies mot owned Uy Mayfield Village is <br />1,750 lin. ft_ (amount of easement, which will be required). <br />3. URS shall provide a separate 5et of eonstruction documents for tbi, North Common <br />Boulevard/IIighland Road 12-inch waterline. <br />4. URS shall only obtain field survey information required for the de3ign of the new 12-inch waterline <br />loop betwcen North Common Boulevard and Highlsnd Road.
