ORDINANCE NO. 2001-20 INTRODUCED BY: NVayor Rinker and Council as a Whole , AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1157.08 (b) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE RELATING TO FENCES IN SIDE AND REAR YARDS WHEREAS, it has been deemed necessary and in the best interest of the resid ts and inhabitants of the Village of Ma?eld to amend Section 1157.08 (b) of the Codifie Ordinances of the Village dealing with fences in side and rear yards. N0NTHEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OKO, THAT: SECTION . Section 1157.08 (b) of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Mayfield is hereby an herein amended to read as follows: 1157.08 FE ES; PERMIT; FEE. All such fences shall be alaced no closer than three (3) feet from side or rear lot However, an open or a closed fence not over eight 'feet in height may be placed along the rear or side line which separates resrdential properties from property used for nonresidential purposes, subjec?to the written approval of the Building Commissioner, who shall not give\his approval if he finds that such proposed fence is unsafe or unsightly or t?hra?t it obstructs necessary light and air from adjacent property or that in some manner ' does not conform with ordinances of the Municipality.
