Union team members shall not suffer the loss <br />of their straight time regular rate of pay for attendance <br />with the Village team in any negotiation session. <br />• Either party may have up to one (1) additional individual <br />appear at a session for the purpose of providing <br />information that may aid the parties in their negotiations. <br />Such additional person will be permitted to attend on a <br />limited basis. <br />D. Chief Negotiator <br />• There shall be only one (1) spokesperson (the Chief <br />Negotiator), for each party, except that he may on occasion <br />request one of his team members to address a specific <br />issued. <br />E. Written ProposalslMaterials <br />• All written proposals or material shall be submitted in <br />sufficient quantity to provide copies for each member of <br />the other party's bargaining team. <br />F. Agreements <br />1. Articles agreed to by the parties will be reduced to <br />writing, duplicated, dated, and signed by the parties as a <br />tentative agreement. When appropriate, Section of Article <br />agreed to by the parties will be reduced to writing, <br />duplicated, dated, and initialed by the parties as a <br />tentative agreement on that Section, pending tentative <br />agreement of the complete Article. <br />2. Articles approved and agreed upon will be prepared in the <br />final form by the Village and duplicated with four (4) <br />copies provided to the Union committee. <br />3. Tentative agreements shall bind the bargaining teams and <br />preclude withdrawal or substitution of tentative agreements <br />until exhaustion of the ratification process, unless a <br />withdrawal or substitution is mutually agreed to by the <br />parties. <br />Page 39 of 43 <br />
