Agr~t b:tMaea Migf3o~.at Dillagr aad F.O.P. Lodgs 37 <br />Section 8.2. Each party may furnish an agenda to the other party <br />at least one (1) week in advance of scheduled meetings. The agenda, <br />if provided by the F.O.P, shall include the names of the bargaining <br />unit representatives who will be attending. The purposes of such <br />meetings shall be to: <br />A. discuss the administration of this Agreement; <br />B, notify the F.O.P. of changes made by the Police Chief <br />which affect the bargaining unit; <br />C. discuss grievances which have not been processed beyond <br />the final step of grievance procedure when such <br />discussions are mutually agreed to by the parties; <br />D. disseminate general information of interest to parties; <br />E. discuss ways to increase productivity and improvement of <br />efficiency; and. <br />F. to consider and discuss health and safety matters <br />relating to employees. <br />G. All other matters agreed to between the F.O.P. and the <br />Employers may be added as another topic, which will be <br />discussed at the labor/management meeting. <br />Section 8.3. It is further agreed that should special labor <br />management meetings be requested and mutually agreed upon, they <br />shall be scheduled as soon after the request as is practical. <br />Section 8.4. The labor/management committee shall not be used to <br />bypass the normal chain of command, unless the problems are unable <br />to be solved at the departmental level or have been previously <br />addressed at the departmental level without any solution. <br />Section 8.5. There shall be a time limit not to exceed three (3) <br />hours for said meetings. The parties may, by mutual consent, <br />continue past the time limits established herein. The F.O.P. <br />representatives attending the meeting will be paid their regular <br />hourly rate of pay for the duration of the meeting. <br />Section 8.6. In the event a designee of the Police Chief or <br />Mayor is the subject of the labor/management committee meeting, <br />only the Palice Chief or Mayor will be present at such meeting, <br />provided, however, the F.O.P. advises the .Chief or Mayor of the <br />nature of the discussion. <br />Page 9 of 43 <br />
