Cablevision/Mayfield Village Franchise Agreement 2000 <br />Page No. -16- <br />(4) General entertainment (including movies); <br />(5) Children/family-oriented; <br />(6) Arts, culture and performing arts; <br />(7) Science/documentary; <br />(8) Weather information; <br />(9) Programming addressed to ethnic and minority interests in the Franchise Area; <br />(10) Government affairs; and <br />(b) Deletion or reduction of programming categories. Grantee shall not delete or so <br />limit as to effectively delete any broad categonr of programming identified in Section 28 (a) and <br />within its control without the consent of Grantor or as otherwise authorized by law. <br />Section 29. Leased Commercial Access. <br />Grantee shall offer leased commercial access according to applicable law. <br />Section 30. Customer Service Standards; Senior Citizen Discount <br />(a) Grantee shall abide by the customer protection and service standards set forth in <br />Chapter~~flo of the Codified Ordinances of the Village. <br />(b) Grantee shall take the economic challenges facing many senior citizens into account <br />when pricing its products and services and shail provide a discount of one dollar'($1.00) off <br />Broadcast Basic Cable Service for senior citizen subscribes. The subscriber must be sixty-five <br />(65) years or older, the head of household and subscribe only to the Broadcast Basic level of <br />service in order qualify for the discount. Grantee will notify all subscribers 60 days after <br />effective date with discount in effect at 90 days from effective date. <br />ARTICLE 5. SUPPORT FOR LOCAL CABLE USAGE <br />Section 31. Institutional Network; Interconnection with Other Government Networks. <br />(a) Grantee shall, at its sole costs, provide two (2) dark fibers to each of the public <br />facilities~set forth in Exhibit E hereto for the creation of an Institutional Network (hereinafter "I- <br />Net") servicing the Franchise Areas of Mayfield Heights, Mayfield Village Gates Mills and <br />Highland Heights. Grantor may use the I-Net for the noncommercial audio, video and data <br />transmissions between and among the facilities listed in Exhibit E at no cost. The Grantor must <br />select one location within the Franchise Area as the I-Net hub site. Included in the cost to be <br />M & M 1999 Page 16 of 28 <br />
