WORK ORDER NO. S NORTHWEST QUADRANT PROJECT -S.O.M. CENTER/WHITE ROAD WIDENING DESIGN AND PLAN PREPARATION DOCUMENTS URS GREINER /HAYFIELD VILLAGE AGREEMENT DATED FEBRUARY 3,1998 This Work Order Task is being performed as an extension of the Professional Engineering Services Agreement between Mayfield Village and URS Greiner (URSG) dated February 3, 1998. All terms and conditions stated therein are incorporated into this Work Order by reference. SCOPE OF SERVICES URSG will provide the following specific consulting services to preform the design and plan preparation documents needed for the widening and reconstruction of S.O.M. Center/White Roads. S.O.M. Center Road would be widened to five (5) lanes for an estimated length of two thousand (2;000) lineal foot. White Road would be widened to three (3) lanes for an estimated length of twelve hundred (1,200) lineal foot. The work would include three (3) signalized intersections. The design and plan prepazation services would be performed to be consistent with the new ODOT Local Public Authority Policy. Field Survey: Using conventional methods, URS Greiner will perform field surveys consisting of the following elements: s! • Establish centerlines of S.O.M. Center Road and White Road • Cross Sections for proper drainage and alignment (every 50') • General topo (hydrants, catch basins, water, traffic, sewer, etc.) • Right-of--way delineation • Bench Marks • Reference Points Bench mazks and control points will be established at 800 foot maximum spacings throughout the project. Cross sections will be taken at fifty-foot intervals and 100 feet left and right laterally within the stated limits. Topography will be located within the project limits. All the survey data will be collected using an electronic total station survey system and converted to base mapping in an AutoCAD format. Base plans and profiles will be prepazed from the survey data collected and verified. 2. Detailed Design and Plans Preparation: URS Greiner will prepare design plans in accordance with ODOT design standards and construction specifications for the widening and reconstruction of S.O.M. Center/ White Roads. These documents will include roadway plans, traffic control plans, utility plans, maintenance of traffic, right-of--way acquisition and erosion control plans, as needed. • Existing_and Proposed Typical Sections Existing typical sections` will be prepazed from the field survey. ,The proposed typical section will be based on ODOT~road standazds. • Maintenance of Traffic Plans will be prepared to maintain traffic through the project during construction. • Roadwa,~Plan/Profile Plans will be prepared showing roadway e: facilities, locations of underground utilities, Q:~BD150306Q\IIVT-VIEVI~WKORDSTO.
