1173.08 PLANNING AND ZONING CODE 108 <br />period of time, provided the developments and future control facilities are <br />planned so as not to cause any substantial extra costs to the public or cause <br />relocations or structures when the permanent facilities are constructed. <br />(3) To carry out the above purposes and objectives on sections of Wilson Mills <br />Road or other major streets within the area of influence but more than <br />1, 200 feet from the interchange, the Planning and Zoning Commission may <br />permit the spacing of accessways at lesser intervals but not less than 200 <br />feet on center, if the projected volume of traffic warrants more frequent <br />spacing. <br />(4) The location and width of any entrance and exit accessways, on local or <br />collector streets, shall be planned and constructed so that the center line <br />of any accessway serving a corner lot shall be at least 100 feet from the <br />right-of--way line of the nearest intersection street. However, driveways <br />to serve gasoline service stations shall be in accord with "Regulations <br />Governing Ingress and Egress at Gasoline Service Stations Fronting on <br />Highways" Ohio Department of Transportation, February 1, 1955, or amend- <br />ments thereto. Accessways serving interior lots shall be spaced at not <br />less than 180 foot intervals measured from the center line of the accessways. <br />(5) All entrances and exits shall be limited to not more than three lanes, con- <br />forming with the following schedule: <br />Lanes Width (in feet) <br />Minimum Maximum <br />One 10 12 <br />Two 18 24 <br />Three 27 33 <br />(6) The radius of the edge of the apron of any accessway shall be at least <br />twenty feet so that a car may enter or leave the curb lane without obstructing <br />vehicles in other traffic lanes. The maximum curb cut shall be limited to <br />the width of the accessway plus the radius of the apron. <br />(Ord. 69-29. Passed 7-21-69. ) <br />1173.08 PERFORMANCE STANDARDS. <br />Every performance standard, set forth herein, if deemed applicable by the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission, shall be complied with as a precedent to occupancy of any use <br />in a Motorist Service, Office-Laboratory and Production Distribution District. <br />(a) Enclosure. All permitted main and accessory uses and operations shall be <br />performed wholly within an enclosed building or buildings. All raw materials, <br />finished products, mobile and other equipment shall be stored within buildings. <br />However, outdoor overnight parking of cargo carriers in the process of loading <br />or unloading shall be permitted. <br />(b) Fire and Explosive Hazards. The storage, handling and use of flammable or <br />explosive materials shall be permitted only in structures having incombustible <br />exterior walls, and all operations in connection therewith shall be provided <br />with adequate safety and protective devices against hazards of fire and explosion <br />as well as with adequate fire-fighting and suppression equipment and devices <br />standard to the operation involved. <br />1998 Replacement <br />
