It is understood and agreed that the Village will establish a"Health Care Task <br />Force" comprised of appropriate representatives of the Village administration and Village <br />employees, including representatives of the F.O.P., the I.A.F.F., and representatives from each <br />departrnent. The Task Force will be expected to study the problems of health care and health <br />care cost containment and then formulate recommendations which will be considered by the <br />Village. <br />Section 29.3. EfFective January 1, 2009, employee contributions shall be Fifty Dollars ($50.00) <br />per month per member for family coverage and Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) per month per <br />member for single coverage, which shall be deducted from each employee's pay through <br />automatic payroll deduction. Effective January 1, 2011, employee contributions will increase by <br />25% of any premiums paid over the 2010 Base Year. Any change in employee contributions <br />will be calculated by the Village's Finance Director and reviewed with the Health Care Task <br />Force prior to communication with the employees and prior to implementation of any such <br />change. <br />Section 29.4. Any permanent full-time non-probationary employee, who is otherwise eligible <br />to be covered under a contract of hospitalization and medical coverage but voluntarily withdraws <br />from the above-referenced insurance coverage, shall be paid Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) <br />per month in lieu of family coverage and One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per month in lieu of <br />single coverage. These payments shall be made in equal quarterly installments. These payments <br />will not be made to any person who is otherwise covered under the Employer's policy through a <br />spouse or other family member. <br />ARTICLE 30 <br />SHIFT EXCI3ANGE <br />Section 30.1.
