Collective Bargaining Agreementbettyeen <br />1Vlayfield Village and the I.A.F.F. Local 2619 <br />F. Agreements <br />1. Articles agreed to by the parties will be reduced to writing. duplicated, dated, and signed <br />by the parties as a tentative agreement. When appropriate, the section of the article <br />agreed to by parties will be reduced to writing, duplicated, dated and initialed by the <br />parties as a tentative agreement on that section, pending tentative agreement of the <br />complete Article. <br />2. Articles approved and agreed upon will be prepared in the final form by the Employer <br />and duplicated with four (4) copies provided to the Union committee. <br />3. Tentative agreements shall bind the bargaining teams and preclude withdrawal or <br />substitution of tentative agreements until exhaustion of the ratification process, unless a <br />withdrawal or substitution is mutually agreed to by the parties. <br />4. Within seven (7) days of reaching final tentative agreement on all Articles, the union <br />bargaining committee will present to the membership of the local union for ratification <br />and the Employer will present to the Village Council. <br />5. Upon ratification by the Mayor and Village Council and the local Union, the bargaining <br />committees will meet within seven (7) days to execute the Agreement by affixing <br />signature of the parties. <br />G. Meeting notes <br />No recording or transcription shall be allowed during negotiation meetings and each <br />party is responsible for taking its own meeting notes. <br />H. Meeting arrangement <br />The date and time of the next negotiating session shall, if possible be agreed upon prior <br />to the close of each session. <br />I. Caucus <br />A caucus maybe called at any time during the negotiations by the Chief Negotiators for <br />either committee. <br />J. News Media <br />It is agreed that during the bargaining period neither party will issue a statement to the <br />news media on an individual basis regarding topics of negotiations. If, in the normal <br />conduct of negotiations such press release becomes necessary, the contents shall be <br />mutually acceptable to all parties. <br />31 <br />
