(3) In addition to the for rent, lease or sale signs permitted to be displayed at the street <br />frontage, no more than one temporary for rent, lease or sale sign shall be permitted on the <br />rear of each of the six businesses or property units that has visibility from I-271, abuts I-271 <br />and maintains frontage on Beta Drive, after approval by the Building Commissioner, as to <br />the size, material, shape and location relative to the building and so long as the sign <br />conforms to either Section 1185.15(f) or all of the regulations set forth below: <br />A. The sign shall not be permitted beyond seven days after either the property is <br />leased, rented, or closing of the sale, or after the property is no longer offered for <br />lease, rent, or sale. The initial period shall be automatically extended, by approval of <br />the Building Commissioner, so long as the sign is found to be in good condition and <br />repair and not in an unsightly, hazardous or deteriorating condition and complies with <br />all the provisions of Section 1185.08. <br />B. The sign shall be affixed to the building and in a location horizontal to I-271. <br />C. The sign shall not exceed two (2) square feet by three (3) square feet of <br />total sign coverage with no more than 25 percent of the nice two (2~ square feet by <br />three 3 square feet or actual total sign coverage, whichever is less, used to identify <br />the entity or individual to be contacted. The maximum square footage of total sign <br />coverage permitted herein shall be excluded from the total maximum area permitted <br />for all signs as set forth in Section 1185.15(c). <br />(Ord. 2014-23.
