Compensation for Optional Additional Services MELD offers the following Optional Additional Services beyond the scope of Basic Services outlined herein, revisions to previously approved work, and providing services on an overtime basis to accelerate a schedule shall all 6e considered Optional Additional Services. Optional Additional Services will be provided, upon written approval or authorization from the Client at MELD's standard hourly rates, which is currently as follows: Principal $150.00/ hour Project Manager $125.00/ hour Project Designer $75.00/ hour Intern Architect $50.00/ hour The Architect reserves the right to modify the hourly rates above for any compensation adjustments made while this Agreement is in effect, but no more than once per calendar year. Reimbursable Expenses Customary reimbursable expenses such as printing, plotting, presentation boards, travel, delivery, local authority application fees and long distance phone charges incurred in the interest of the project are not included and will be billed at our direct cost times a multiple of ~ . l as standard in the industry. Total MELD reimbursable cost will be estimated at (A - DI $250 Billing Meld Architects will invoice the Client for professional fees and reimbursable expenses monthly. Payment is due within thirty {30) days of the invoice date. Amounts unpaid after thirty (30j days of the invoice date shall bear interest at the rate of 1 ~ per month { 12% per annum). Other Standard Terms This document called Exhibit A will serve as an exhibit to a standard AfA Contract between Owner & Architect. Should any claim, dispute or other matter arise out of or related to this Agreement, it shall be meditated as a condition precedent to arbitration and the parties will mutually agree on a mediator. Client will Provide The Client will provide the architect at the client's expense with an electronic and paper copy of all pertinent reports, site plans and surveys prepared by others concerning this scope of work. The Client shall provide full information regarding the objectives and constraints of the Project.
